How it all began...
My passion wasn't born in a boutique, but much earlier.
Since I was a child, I've always loved creating. Painting, observing materials, transforming what I had in my hands.
Creativity has always been my language.
And fashion entered my life early, thanks to my grandmother, a seamstress. Watching her work, choosing fabrics, and taking care of every detail taught me that behind every garment and every accessory, there is time , knowledge , and sensitivity .
Years later, this attention returned naturally.
My father always had a deep love for restoration . For him, bringing a piece of furniture back to life was never just a hobby , but a way to pass on a story.
One day he needed to restore an old leather armchair that belonged to my aunt. He asked me for help.
I arranged that skin with care, patience, and curiosity.
From that moment on, something clicked.
It all started from there.
I began to approach the world of luxury starting from what I could afford: wallets and accessories that were very damaged , marked by time, often neglected.
Objects that others would have discarded. Not me.
I observed them, I studied them. I learned to repair, clean, and nourish leather, respecting its limits and appreciating its history.
It hasn't been a linear journey.
I also made mistakes at first: I was deceived , I bought items that weren't authentic. But those very mistakes taught me the most.
During the restoration, I began to notice details invisible to those who only look at the aesthetics: stitching, materials, finishes, natural wear.
The skin always tells the truth, if you know how to listen.
Today, Desiderio Studio was born from all this.
From the desire, precisely, to give new life to luxury, without erasing its history.
From the belief that a sign of the times is not a defect, but a trace of experience.
If a bag retains some imperfections it is because it has had a life, and it is part of its authenticity.
Every piece you find here has been treated with care, time, and respect.
Because behind every bag there is a story.
And behind it, I'm there too.
